Navigating Health Coverage Changes

Health insurance premiums change every year. Factors such as rising healthcare costs, inflation, and new legislation often reshape the landscape.

Supporting You Through Change

While some years bring more change than others, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Via Benefits is here to help you stay informed and confident.

What to do before October 15

  • Update your Profile
Your Profile powers Coverage Checkup, our comprehensive coverage recommendation tool. To learn more about creating or updating your Profile, read Create Your Profile on the Website.

  • Watch for your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC)
Insurance carriers send these out each fall for Medicare Advantage and Part D Prescription Drug plans. This letter may include updates to your premiums, benefits, coverage rules, or notice of automatic enrollment in a new plan. Be sure to read it carefully, and contact Via Benefits if you have any questions.

  • Plan termination notice
If your current plan won’t be offered in 2026, you’ll get a notice this fall. Don’t worry, Via Benefits can help you explore new options that fit your needs.

  • Schedule an appointment with a licensed benefit advisor
If there are changes to your plan and you want to discuss your options with a licensed benefit advisor, schedule a one-on-one appointment for when Open Enrollment begins.

Please note: ANOC letters are not sent for Medicare Supplement plans (Medigap).
